What on-device storage means

Browsers may store cookies, local storage, session storage, and cached resources for motel4.ai and for embedded services on their own subdomains. A browser's site-data screen lists these origins and storage containers; it does not indicate that every integration is currently active.

Strictly necessary storage

We use strictly necessary storage to remember your privacy choice, keep authenticated account sessions working, protect sign-in and account-recovery flows, and preserve essential interface state. This includes the host-only cc_cookie consent record, retained for up to 12 months, and, for signed-in users, Wasp's wasp:sessionId browser storage. We also keep limited interface, referral, and onboarding state in local or session storage on this device. Disabling or deleting necessary storage may sign you out or make account features unavailable.

Cookie-free public traffic analytics

Ahrefs Web Analytics measures visits to an explicit allowlist of public marketing pages. We disable its automatic URL capture and provide only the page pathname without query parameters or fragments; the tracker is disabled on sign-in, account, dashboard, report, promotion-code, and account-recovery routes. Ahrefs states that Web Analytics uses no cookies or persistent identifiers, does not store raw IP addresses, and does not collect personally identifiable information by default. We also honor the browser's Do Not Track setting.

Optional product analytics

PostHog browser analytics is disabled until you explicitly accept the Analytics category. When enabled, PostHog uses host-scoped local storage—not a new analytics cookie—to measure sanitized page views, campaign/referrer attribution, CTA clicks, demo-booking activity, contact-form outcomes, signup steps, checkout outcomes, feature usage, performance, exceptions, dead clicks, heatmaps, session replay, surveys, product tours, web experiments, and feature flags. Form inputs and marked private areas are masked, text is masked in replay, and our event sanitizer removes account-owner email, phone numbers, names, URL query parameters or fragments, call content, guest contact data, credentials, and raw DOM element payloads before ordinary events are sent. We do not load analytics on password-reset, email-verification, or OAuth callback URLs. Rejecting or withdrawing consent stops capture and removes PostHog local storage and any legacy PostHog cookies.

Scheduling and feedback services

Cal.com powers demo scheduling at cal.motel4.ai and loads only when you visit or choose to open a scheduler. It may store booking, anti-forgery, and session state on its own origin. Formbricks powers product-feedback surveys at surveys.motel4.ai and loads only after Analytics consent; it can receive anonymous funnel actions before signup and account identity after you sign in. Its formbricks-js local-storage record can contain account identity and survey-display state; withdrawal or account logout clears that record. These services can have separate origin entries in browser site-data screens.

Security and reliability telemetry

Sentry error and performance monitoring helps us diagnose failures and is treated as operational security storage rather than optional product analytics. Session Replay is disabled. Our configuration removes account identity, request bodies, cookies, headers, IP addresses, URL query strings and fragments, console breadcrumbs, and attachments, and redacts common contact and credential patterns before events are sent. Sentry browser tracing uses in-memory trace linking rather than a tracking cookie. Cloudflare may also inject its cookie-free Web Analytics beacon to measure aggregate page paths and browser performance; Cloudflare states that this beacon uses neither cookies nor local storage for usage measurement.

Changing your choice

You may accept or reject optional analytics in the first-visit cookie banner. Clearing site data in your browser resets your choice and may sign you out.

No advertising profiles

We do not sell personal information or use browser storage for cross-site advertising. Product analytics and feedback are used to understand and improve motel4.ai. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to privacy@motel4.ai.
